Why China, Why Now

We have operated continuously in China since 2006 — twenty years, through three industrial policy cycles, with a portfolio now aligned to three industries the PRC has named as strategic priorities: clean energy, aerospace, and life sciences.

Our position is the product of that span. Two decades of on-the-ground presence have given us regulatory fluency across central and provincial authorities, a partner network spanning sixteen nations, and a manufacturing corridor in western China that runs from Anren Ancient Town through Dayi County into Chengdu.

We hold three operating divisions — Hydrogen, Space, and Biotech — each with its own mandate, and two functional hubs, Shanghai for capital and commercial strategy and Beijing for policy and government relations. The parent coordinates the group.

We engage with sovereign funds, institutional investors, state-owned enterprises, and research institutions. Engagement is by introduction, email, or LinkedIn. Meetings are held at No. 333 Anren, or in Beijing or Shanghai. Data room access is granted under NDA where appropriate.

The Layers of the House

Rothschild Corp of China sits within a defined structure — an identity, a holding entity, an operating entity, and the divisions and hubs that carry the work.

The Three Divisions

Each division operates under its own mandate, with its own partner network and its own reports. Together they form the operating portfolio of the group.

What the Parent Does

Rothschild Corp of China is the coordinating parent of the group. It does not run the divisions day-to-day; it holds the group together, in five defined functions.

What the Parent Does Not Do

The rules of the house are as important as its mandate. These are the boundaries within which the group operates.
